Dr. AK

Veterinarian

Dr. Angad Kahlon is a seasoned veterinarian with eight years of experience in caring for animals of all shapes and sizes. When he’s not busy tending to his furry patients, he can often be found exploring the great outdoors through hiking and traveling. Dr. Kahlon has a deep passion for learning and can often be found engrossed in a good book during his spare time. At home, he shares his life with Timbit, a playful toy poodle who brings joy and companionship to his days.

Dr. Aman

Veterinarian

Since her childhood, Dr. Amandeep always wanted to help furry friends. This is how she gained a passion that encouraged her to study animal sciences. She graduated in India from the College of Veterinary Medicine in 2015. Afterward, she moved to Canada in search of more opportunities to help animals. She has been working in the veterinary field for the last 6 years.  She joined the Bellamy Lawrence Animal Hospital team in 2023 and started working with us as a vet with a restricted license while she pursued her general license to practice in Canada.

Dr. April

Veterinarian

Growing up in Toronto, Dr. April has always been surrounded by animals. After graduating from McMaster University with a Life Sciences degree in 2015, Dr. April continued on to the Ontario Veterinary College at the University of Guelph, graduating in 2019. Since then, she has been at Bellamy Lawrence Animal Hospital where she has developed interests in preventative health care, internal medicine and routine surgeries.

In her spare time, she enjoys watching TV and bouldering. She also enjoys training her 9 month old poodle Poppy, and spending time with her cat Cindy.

Dr. Elprince

Veterinarian

For the past 27 years, Dr. Mohamed Elprince has dedicated himself to the care and well-being of animals as a veterinarian. With expertise honed over decades, he has become known for his compassion and skill in treating a variety of creatures, from dogs to cats.

In his spare time, Dr. Elprince finds solace in the simple pleasures of life. He is an avid reader, immersing himself in the worlds of literature to unwind and expand his horizons. Swimming provides him with both relaxation and exercise, allowing him to recharge both physically and mentally. Additionally, he enjoys the camaraderie and excitement of playing volleyball, finding joy in the teamwork and friendly competition.

At the center of Dr. Elprince’s life is his beloved companion, Max, a loyal German Shepherd. Max is not just a pet but a cherished member of the family, providing unwavering loyalty and companionship to Dr. Elprince through the years. Together, they navigate both the challenges and joys of life, forming an unbreakable bond built on love and trust.

Dr. Kahlon

Veterinarian

Dr. Paul Kahlon boasts an illustrious 38-year career as a dedicated veterinarian, having tirelessly cared for countless animals with compassion and expertise. Amidst the demands of his profession, Dr. Kahlon finds solace and joy in his cherished pastimes. A passionate cricket player, he relishes the opportunity to step onto the field and immerse himself in the exhilarating sport during his leisure hours. When not perfecting his cricket skills, Dr. Kahlon enjoys unwinding with the captivating narratives of movies and documentaries, expanding his horizons and enriching his perspective on the world.

Beyond his professional and recreational pursuits, Dr. Kahlon is a loving pet parent to three beloved companions: cats named Dexter and Ace, and a loyal canine companion named Lila. His bond with his furry friends reflects his innate empathy and nurturing nature, further enriching his life outside the veterinary clinic. Dr. Paul Kahlon’s multifaceted life embodies a harmonious balance of dedication to his profession, enjoyment of leisure activities, and the unconditional love he shares with his animal companions

Ajay

Animal Care Aid

Ajay is a skilled veterinary assistant with a passion for working with exotic animals and large animals. Originally from a background working with cows, buffalo, sheep, goats, horses, and chickens, I moved to Canada in 2022 to pursue his career in veterinary medicine. With experience in caring for a variety of exotic pets including bearded dragons, geckos, snakes, rats, tortoises, fish, birds, Guinea pigs, hamsters, pocket birds, and large birds, as well as cats and dogs.  My  dream dog is an Australian Shepherd, and also has a keen interest in owning a bearded dragon, a chinchilla, and a snake. Outside of work, I enjoys immersing myself  in nature through camping, writing in my free time, and listening to music. With a strong dedication to animal welfare and a goal of becoming a veterinarian in the future.

Anju

Reception / ACA

Anju may be relatively new to the veterinary field, but her impact is already palpable. In her two years at the clinic, she’s quickly earned a reputation for her unwavering helpfulness and warm demeanor. Anju’s friendly nature shines through in every interaction, whether she’s assisting a colleague or comforting a worried pet owner.
Outside of work, Anju’s adventurous spirit takes her on journeys around the globe. Traveling is not just a hobby for her; it’s a way of expanding her horizons, experiencing new cultures, and forging unforgettable memories. Through her kindness at the clinic and her thirst for exploration, Anju adds a vibrant energy to both her professional and personal life.

Amanda

Surgical Technician

Amanda is a seasoned veterinary technician with a decade of experience under her belt, driven by an unwavering passion for animals. In her spare time, she immerses herself in the virtual worlds of video games. Amanda cherishes the company of her beloved feline companions, Leo and Ezio. Whether she’s saving lives in the clinic or embarking on virtual quests, Amanda’s love for animals and her vibrant spirit shine through in all aspects of her life.

Heidi

Receptionist

Heidi has been here for 15 years, with little to no experience when she started. She has grown to love this job so much that she has 3 cats now and is almost always here in clinic. She is usually the first person you see when entering.

Joaquin

Technician

For three and a half decades, Joaquin has dedicated himself to the well-being of animals as a seasoned veterinary technician. With a gentle touch and a wealth of experience, he tends to furry patients with care and expertise, earning the trust of both animals and their owners alike.

Outside the clinic, Joaquin finds solace and joy in two very different pastimes: fishing and salsa dancing. Whether casting his line into the tranquil waters of a nearby lake or twirling across the dance floor with effortless grace, he embraces each activity with equal passion and enthusiasm.

But amidst his adventures, Joaquin’s heart belongs to a tiny feline companion named Coraline. In their shared moments of quiet companionship, he finds comfort and joy, cherishing the bond they’ve forged over the years. Together, they embody the balance of his life—between the bustling energy of his profession, the serene tranquility of nature, and the vibrant rhythms of dance, all anchored by the steadfast presence of his beloved cat.

Jodie

Technician

Jodie boasts an impressive 22-year tenure as a skilled veterinary technician, a testament to her unwavering commitment to the well-being of animals. With each passing year, her expertise and compassion have only deepened, earning her the trust and admiration of both colleagues and clients alike.

Beyond her bustling career, Jodie finds joy and relaxation in the great outdoors, indulging in her passion for sports. Whether it’s a leisurely round of golf, a spirited game of bowling, or the competitive thrill of horseshoes, Jodie thrives on the exhilaration of physical activity and friendly competition.

Yet, amidst her active pursuits, Jodie’s heart truly belongs to her faithful companions, Klyde and Charlotte. These loyal canine companions are her constant companions, sharing in her adventures and bringing boundless joy to her life with their unwavering loyalty and affection. Born and raised in the Philippines, Joyce has always known that her future would somehow involve animal care. Graduating from Durham College in 2012. Joyce has spent 12 years in clinic, helping save animals.

During her off days, Joyce loves reading and playing with her cats Matoki and Midna along with her hyper little corgi named Jyn.

Lily

Surgical Technician

Lily’s journey as a veterinary technician spans an impressive 13 years, during which her expertise and compassion have touched the lives of countless furry friends. Her dedication to animal welfare shines through in every aspect of her work, from comforting anxious pets to skillfully assisting in medical procedures. But beyond the clinic, Lily’s heart belongs to her cherished family. When she’s not tending to the needs of her patients, she finds solace and joy in the company of her children. Together, they embark on adventures, share laughter, and create cherished memories that will last a lifetime.

Lily’s home is also blessed with the presence of two beloved furry companions, Chika and Bam Bam, whose playful antics and unconditional love bring warmth and happiness to their household. Whether she’s nurturing her patients back to health or reveling in the love of her family and pets, Lily’s kindness, dedication, and love know no bounds, making her a cherished presence in both her professional and personal spheres.

Megan

Technician

Megan graduated from the Veterinary Technician program at Georgian College in 2023. She has always had a passion for animals growing up which made me decide to go into this field. Megan is excited to be a part of every pet’s journey and to help provide the best standard of care for you and your pets. When she is not at work she is at home with her two rambunctious cats names jub jub and pawlina.

Samantha

Coordinating Manager

Samantha has been in the animal field for over 25 years. First, at a small zoo learning animal behavior and husbandry. Then, at an animal shelter developing a deep love for animals who are truly in need. Veterinary care has been the sole focus over the last 15 years with experience in regular veterinary practice, feline practice and emergency medicine.

Beyond her dedication to the well-being of animals, Samantha finds gardening serves as a therapeutic escape, allowing her to nurture life outside the confines of the hospital walls as the Coordinating Manager. When she’s not tending to her garden, Samantha unwinds by immersing herself in the world of cinema. At home, Samantha is a devoted pet parent to two dogs, Taco and Tyson, who bring boundless energy and love into her life.

Alongside her canine companions, she shares her home with Shylo, a cherished feline friend who adds a touch of tranquility to her bustling household. With her wealth of experience, unwavering dedication, and a heart full of love for animals, Samantha continues to make a profound impact in the animal industry and in the lives of those she cares for.

Francheska

Animal Care Aid

Francheska is an Animal Care Attendant who has been working in the veterinary field for 2 years. She always had a love for animals since her family got a dog when she was a youth. Right now, she has an aquarium filled with fishes including different colour betta fish and her 2 bunnies named Buko and Powder. In her free time, Francheska likes to go to the gym and do outdoor activities like hiking.

Jadah

Animal Care Aid

Jadah is currently an Animal Care Attendant at Bellamy-Lawrence Animal Hospital. A proud graduate of Seneca College, Veterinary Assistant program, she was inspired to pursue a career in veterinary medicine after realizing her desire to help animals as a child. Prior to working at Bellamy-Lawrence, she has worked in the veterinary field for 4 years at vet facilities like Toronto Animal Health Partners Emergency as an ER ACA and VCA Toronto Veterinary Emergency Hospital as a Neurology ACA. In her free time, Jadah helps make costumes for the Toronto Caribbean Carnival and also loves to travel and have out with her friends, family and 5-year-old, Shih Tzu, Milo.
